The Central Europe Triangle Pass is valid for a one-way journeys on one of the following routes:
- The journey can start in any one of the mentioned cities and be made in any direction.
- The Central Europe Triangle Pass is available in Standard Class only.
- The Central Europe Triangle Pass is personal and non transferable.
Central Europe Triangle Pass Eligibility
The Central Europe Triangle Pass can be used by anyone not permanently residing in a participating country (Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovak Republic and Austria). This means if you 'live or are resident' in any of the 4 countries where it is used, you cannot buy or use this pass.
So everyone else can use this pass for a great vacation in Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovak Republic and Austria.
Central Europe Triangle Pass Validity
- Journeys must be completed within one month starting from the 1st day of validity.
- The Central Europe Triangle Pass is not transferable.
- The passenger must record the dates of use with a pen in the respective column before boarding the train.
- The validity time of a day starts at 0 am and ends at midnight.
- Passengers must be able to present their passports/Identity cards to train personnel on demand.
- Tickets that have been altered will be confiscated by train personnel and the passenger will be charged the full fare.
- Transportation covered by a pass is subject to the Uniform Rules concerning the Contract for International Carriage of Passengers and Luggage (C.I.V.).

Children aged 4-11 pay half the adult fare. Children under 4 travel free when sharing a paying passenger’s seat/bed
Central Europe Triangle Pass Conditions of Used
Central Europe Triangle Pass Refunds
- Refunds must be claimed within 6 months from the date of issue.
- The pass and all supporting documentation must be presented to the Issuing office.
- The refund is subject to a deduction of 15%.
Central Europe Triangle Pass Fees and Charges
Pass holders are still required to pay a price supplement for seat reservations, sleeper reservations and any other fees not included in the price of the Central Europe Triangle Pass.
Central Europe Triangle Pass Lost Tickets
There is no refund for passes lost or stolen.
All passengers are strongly recommended to purchase travel insurance before commencing their journey.
