The S-Bahn can be recognized by its logo (a white S on a green background). Travel on International IC Buses Throughout Europe As a Eurail Pass holder you can travel for FREE on IC Bus connections passing through Germany. With this, you can travel to cities in 10 countries, as long as your Eurail Pass is valid in all the countries you travel through.
Tickets and reservations are available at railway ticket windows in Germany. Due to seasonal route changes, it's worth checking the dates of your preferred route on the DB Bahn website before you travel. What do I Need to Reserve? Do you have a Eurail Global Pass or a Eurail Select Pass including all the countries that the bus travels through on the route you wish to take? If so, you only need to make a reservation (and pay the reservation fee). Do you have a Eurail One Country Pass or a Eurail Select Pass which does not include all countries that the bus travels through on the route you wish to take? If so, you need to make a reservation plus pay for a ticket for part of the journey in the countries not included in your Pass.
