Eurostar™ Direct Ski Train St. Pancras International to Aime-la-Plagne TGV
Eurostar™ Direct Ski Train St. Pancras International to Aime-la-Plagne TGVBetween December and April, the Eurostar™ Direct Ski service operates from St. Pancras International or Ashford International to Moutiers, Aime-la-Plagne or Bourg-St-Maurice.Eurostar™ seasonal ski service takes Snow Train passengers directly to the heart of the French Alps at 186mphWinter Ski passengers can jump on a Eurostar™ Direct Ski train at St. Pancras International or Ashford International and, in a matter of hours, arrive in the heart of the Alps.
One of the advantages of the overnight train – if taken both ways – is that customers get 8 days on the piste, instead of the usual 6. The service leaves London on Friday evening and arrives in the Alps early on Saturday, giving ski train passengers first dibs on the slopes. The return leg leaves the following Saturday night, long after most have already packed up and gone home.
Leave Saturday on the day train and there will be stunning views to marvel at along the way. Ski train passengers can sit back, relax and watch as the mountains that are soon to be their playground, gradually loom into view. The journey takes just 7 1/2 hours.Eurostar™ Direct Ski services can be booked up to 6 months in advance.
Choice of travel classThe Eurostar™ ski train service offers a choice of Standard class or Standard Premier.
Standard class offers comfortable seats in a spacious, air-conditioned cabin, with one of the 2 buffet-cars just a short walk away. Standard Class prices start from £149 return.
With Standard Premier your ski train passengers get more personal space, reclining seats, complimentary reading material, plus food and drink served at their seat. Standard Premier prices start from £229 return.
