Inlandsbanan Scenic Train Routes The 1,300 km long (807 mi) Inlandsbanan starts in Kristinehamn in the south and ends in Gällivare in the north. The railway is open for tourist traffic with daily departures from the middle of June until the end of August. At other times of the year, it is only open for chartered arrangements. The stretch Kristinehamn - Mora is open during the high season and the journey combines train and bus.
