- Scratch Off tickets (Family, Train & Bus DaySaver), which are sold at bus stations and some Tourist Information Centres, have no specific date of travel.
- On the day you want to use the ticket, simply scratch off the day, date and month and year and seal it with the protective overlay.
- Scratch Off tickets are not sold at rail outlets.
- Pre**-dated tickets** (Family, Train & Bus, Train DaySaver) are sold at rail stations.
- You can buy them on the day of use or in advance if you know when you want to travel.
- You can even buy your Train DaySaver on the train if there is no booking office open.
- DaySavers mean you can start out as early as you want at weekends and on public holidays, and after 09.30am on normal weekdays.
- Tickets are not valid on trains Monday to Friday between 16:01 and 18:29.
